Enjoy fabulous musical wizardry (lizardry?) from Peter Barnes and Dave Langford, of the Latter Day Lizards, whose amazing variety and verve will keep you dancing. Vermont Caller Will Mentor got his start in Fairfield and is now in demand at dances all over the USA. His clarity and energy will delight you as he guides you through contras and squares both sensuous and energetic, with a few brain-teasers (foot teasers?) thrown in for good measure.

Enjoy workshops in Waltz, Lindy and Swing, English Country Dance, West Coast Swing and Advanced Contras & Squares (and some other treats still in the works) ... and then top it off with plenty of time to enjoy Fairfield's incredible culinary (and coffee!) offerings, all within 1-2 blocks walking distance from the dance!

We have a great dance floor at Morning Star Studio, 51 South Court, Fairfield but to maintain maximum comfort, attendance will be limited to 100 dancers, so be sure to register early.

We aim for approximate gender balance. Just $75 for a very full weekend of dance fun! SAVE $10: Register before March 15th for only $65!

Cancellation / Refund Policy: You can send someone -- a previously unregistered dancer -- in your place and let us know about the substitution. You work out the payment with your friend. Otherwise, no refunds -- it is simply too complicated.

LODGING

With our experience hosting over 18 dance weekends so far, we know what dancers care about and are ready to welcome you with open arms. Home hospitality is available on a limited basis -- first come, first served -- and inns and hotels are available within walking distance from the dance (Landmark Inn & Mainstay Inn) with other motels & inns (Best Western, Super 8, Seven Roses Inn, The Raj Resort) and camping grounds 5-10 minutes from the dance.
Special note: We have reserved the entire Sweetwater Luxury Bunkhouse for our dancers -- it can house 10 people in private and semi-private rooms at reasonable rates. Email frolic "at" SomaStream "dot" net or contact Jack at (641) 469-5243 for details.
